Arslan’s journey to become champion
“The story here is this guy cannot be stopped,” This quote perfectly sums up Arslan’s journey to make it to the finals. He also won at EVO Japan where he swept the floor with Tekken’s finest including Knee and fan favourite Anakin. But to get there he had to face many struggles. Securing a visa for Japan seemed almost impossible and when he finally did he had to travel over 2 and a half days across 5 flights to reach in time for the tournament. Arslan described the whole process as “very difficult.” His victory in Japan shot him to fame amongst the Tekken community and the community provided immense support by starting a project called the EFight Pass to help him secure a visa for the US.
What’s next for Arslan
“He is now the guy to watch out for! But like many champions in the past, once the mark is on you, everyone’s going to come after you. So Arslan Ash, I’m sure you were ready already, but everyone’s going to be gunning for you.” said commentator Mark Julio as Arslan celebrated on stage. Arslan now has a chance to win three crowns in a row, an accomplishment never before completed by any gamer in the Tekken community. His wins come as a great joy for Pakistan especially for our under rated Tekken community of players. Suggested Reading: Tik Tok to Be Banned in Pakistan?
