The most notable changes in the OP 8 is to include a curved display first introduced with the OnePlus 7 Pro. If real, with a curved display from a conventional OEM, this will likely also be the inexpensive smartphone. The second most visible change is to include a hole-punch camera that also eliminates the possibility of a pop-up feature being included. Besides these major changes, there is a new feature that the source says would ultimately make for its phones.
The forthcoming OnePlus 8 is expected to feature wireless charging. OnePlus has so far justified the absence of wireless charging by claiming that for practical use it is too sluggish. But now that, respectively, we’ve seen 30W and 27W quick wireless charging from Xiaomi and Huawei, chances are it has finally decided to add this functionality to their upcoming devices. It is prudent to presume that their wireless charging system will also be quick so that they can explain why they have not included it in their devices so far. The OnePlus 8 is still miles away and it will hopefully to reveal next year in or around May. But if these leaked rumors were true based on engineering drawings leaked from within, the OnePlus 8 will ultimately make the final step in becoming a true flagship. Knowing the release date for the 8 is far too early, but the news is that from now on you will see it for about half a year. This only leaves us wondering what Oneplus 8 Pro will bring to the table next year.
