The messaging app has built an ability for users to play voice messages directly from notifications. Previously, users will have to open WhatsApp and respective chat window in order to listen to the audio from there friends. It was a hefty task especially when someones is driving or is stuck in some important task. One can listen to audios directly from notification by long-pressing and click to play.
Privacy Concerns:
However, this feature has certain side effects as it can compromise your privacy in seconds. And you might not like someone else playing your audio notes while they have your mobile in hands. Well, it’s just my perception, maybe the company will look for some ways to overcome this fear as well.
